Alison Bellarosa joins the PSG team as a Summer 2018 Intern, and we are all excited to have her! Alison is a Writing, Literature & Publishing major with a minor in History at Emerson College. She just finished her junior year, during which she spent her spring semester traveling Europe and living in a castle in the Netherlands!
Alison has known for a while that she wants to work in the publishing industry. Once she discovered PSG, she knew this would be the perfect fit—she’s very interested in learning about every facet of educational publishing through plenty of hands-on experience.
At Emerson, Alison works as the head fiction editor of the Emerson Review, an on-campus literary magazine. Her dream job is to work as an editor for a middle grade/young adult fiction imprint.
But for now, Alison is enjoying learning about the industry and spending her free time reading Jane Austen or Breakfast at Tiffany’s, writing leisurely, working at an ice cream shop and walking her goldendoodle, Callie. She also considers herself an expert in teen television and art history.
Alison is driven, passionate and friendly, and PSG is very excited to have her on our team!
